Because technology of LED improved, effiency of LED became higher and higher. Price became lower and lower. Many customers accpet our LED products. Our LED street lights, LED flood lights, LED industrial lights and LED strips are popular in many countries.

Initial effiency of our products is over 100lm/w. Maintain effiency of our products is over 80lm/w. So, they are widely used to replace incandescent, high pressure sodium, mercury and halogen lamps.

Because of energy saving, price of solar kits for LED lights is much lower. So, solar LED lights are accept in many projects.

Technology of solar and LED improved fast. Thereby, we believe solar LED lights will be a big wave in the next 3 years. We publish our solar street lights and solar flood lights. In the furture, we will publish more solar LED lighting products for our partners and customers.

Do you know what is highest efficacy in LED industry?

CREE has reported its industry-best R&D results of 161 lm per watt for a white high power LED.

CREE confirmed that the 1 mm by 1 mm LED produced 173 lumens of light output and achieved 161 lumens per watt efficacy at a color temperature of 4,689 K. The tests were conducted under standard LED test conditions at a drive current of 350 mA, at room temperature.

Therefore, luminous efficiency is 12-15 times than incandescent bulbs. We believe LED lighting period are coming.

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has released a high-intensity white power SMD LEDs in the CLCC-6 and CLCC-6 flat ceramic packages to offer InGaN/TAG on sapphire technology for high optical power from 2,240 mcd to 5,600 mcd.

Designed to reduce costs in high-volume applications, the new VLMW6 series features the CLCC-6 package and a low thermal resistance to 50 k/W, while the VLMW64 series in the CLCC-6 flat package offers a low thermal resistance of 40 k/W and an ultra-low profile of 0.9 mm.

The junction temperature of high-power LEDs can directly affect the performance and longevity of some LED devices. As the junction temperature rises, a significant loss of output (luminosity) can be expected. The forward voltage of an LED is also dependent on the junction temperature. As the temperature rises, the forward voltage decreases, which can cause excessive current drain on other LEDs in the array. This in-turn leads to thermal runaway conditions and ultimately to the failure of the device. High temperatures can also affect the wavelength of an LED fabricated using gallium arsenide, gallium nitride or silicon carbide. (more…)
