With good wishes cherished, people usually avoid unlucky behaviors during Spring Festival. Words like bad, dead, kill, ill, ache, etc. are not the welcome because people think bad things may happen if they say these words, and the whole year will be terrible.

1. Arrange your itinerary, make reservations for flights and hotels in advance.
2. Collect more information on Chinese New Year celebrations in the city you are going to stay.
3. Bus, trains will be crowded during the period of Spring Festival, so try to avoid travelling by taxior rail.
4. Bring enough warm clothes (Chinese New Year usually comes on the coldest days of the year in China).
